An excellent book

This is a well documented book that contains the basic concepts of free radical biomedicine, free radicals and related reactive species in various disease processes as well as methodologies in free radical research. The last section of this book (methodologies in free radical research) describes many assays commonly used to study free radicals/redox signaling. Many assays of this section have been recently adapted to my research lab. This book provides insights into the involvement of free radicals in the pathogenesis of various diseases process and each chapter's aspects are presented clearly and in depth. The author (Professor Y. LI) is a well-known professor in the field of free radical and toxicology/pharmacology. He has published widely over 100 peer reviewed papers in the field and currently is serving as co-editor-in-chief for toxicology letters. I have read this book two times and feel this book is a great tool as a textbook for undergraduate and graduate students in the field. Also, it will be a valuable reference for basic scientist and clinicians.
